Happy Tuesday, friends and fans!

Well, the weather forecast is looking more mild today temperature-wise, and there are a few things to do.

Around the towns today …

• The ladies of the RBR PTO are selling tickets to their annual Still Chillin luncheon and gift auction on Jan. 26 at Oyster Point Hotel. All proceeds go to RBR. Planning on going? Click here for more details.

• There's a conversation with Jane Pauley and Tom Brokaw being live streamed  from New York to the Count Basie Theatre starting at 8:15 p.m. Click here for more info.

• There's also a free drum circle, open to anyone, at the Monmouth County Library in Shrewsbury Township. It starts at 6:30 p.m.

Weather, sun, moon and tides tidbits …

• Uh, oh! Here comes that rain again … According to the National Weather Service, it's going to be a bit warmer, with a high of 50 degrees, but there's an 80 percent chance of rain today.
