Red Bank Cooling Center For Men Will Open this Week

RED BANK, NJ — The JBJ PBC Hope & Comfort Cooling Center for Men, at the Pilgrim Baptist Church Annex, will be open Thursday and Friday for shelter from the heat, the borough says.

There is a Code Red heat advisory expected to be in effect those days, according to the borough.

The site at 166 Shrewsbury Ave. has 18 beds for men and services to help with laundry, showers and sleeping areas.

Guests can come to the back entrance of the annex to be admitted.
