Red Bank Mayoral, Council Candidates To Debate Tuesday
Red Bank candidates running in the May 9 Mayor/Council election to be in "Faceoff Over Red Bank's Future" debate at Red Bank Middle School.

RED BANK, NJ — “Faceoff Over Red Bank’s Future” is a debate among Red Bank mayoral and Borough Council candidates taking place Tuesday night, April 18, at the Red Bank Middle School. The two-hour event in the school auditorium will begin at 7 p.m.
Both candidates for mayor – incumbent Billy Portman and challenger Tim Hogan – will participate in a segment in the final half hour.
There are 13 candidates for six Borough Council seats. All have been invited to attend.

The borough, which voted to change its form of government to a nonpartisan Council/Manager form, must elect a new governing body in the May 9 election. The new council will be seated in July.
The event will be moderated by redbankgreen.com founder John T. Ward and will feature brief opening and closing statements by each candidate, as well as a Q&A segment.

While parking is available in the school parking lot, attendees are asked to enter and exit the building via the Harding Road entrance.
