Red Bank Pop Culture Festival Promises Contests, Gaming, Art & More

RED BANK, NJ — For fans of movies, gaming, art, music and more, the Red Bank Pop Culture Festival is coming to town this fall with various contests and activities to enjoy.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, the festival will take place on the Red Bank Broadwalk from 12-4 p.m. with various businesses involved, such as Yestercades, Camera Culture, Basie Center Cinemas, Shore Gamers, etc.
The festival is a family-friendly, fun-filled day that will celebrate movies, gaming, comics, anime, art, music, toys and more, festival officials said.

At the event, attendees will be able to:
- Check out the vendor, gaming, and art zones on Broadwalk
- Compete in a cosplay contest
- Compete in the “Not Peek A Chew, Please Don’t Sue” mobile game gym takeover
- See classic serials at the Basie Center Cinemas
- Find fun snacks from Coney Waffle & Ice Cream, Jersey Cookie Girl, Surf’s Up Coffee & Candle, Sally Boy’s and more
- Get their photo taken with the 1989 Batmobile
- Enjoy tunes from DJ Khalil
Special guests at the festival include The Kubert School, HSL Photography, LBB Artistry & FX, and the 501st Legion. In case of rain, the event will take place on Sunday, Sept. 14.

The festival is presented by the Red Bank RiverCenter, the Special Improvement District and Jay & Silent Bob’s Secret Stash.
