Signature Series: Red Bank Chocolate Shoppe

The shelves at are packed full of confections of all kinds, from chocolate covered pretzels, to gourmet truffles. But if there’s anything that exemplifies what the candy shop, which has been a fixture in the borough’s downtown for more than a decade, is all about, it’s the Red Bank Twist, a chocolate covered pretzel, caramel, and homemade peanut butter treat.

The Twist has been a staple at the shop for the past four years and has become the kind of candy people call ahead for. The popularity of the Twist has grown so much that it's even got its own ice cream, made by Hoffman's Ice Cream and available at the chocolate shop.
