Smash and Grab at Welsh Farms and Other Criminal Activity

Red Bank Police blotter from July 20 to July 27.

A burglary occurred at on E. Front Street, police said, when an unknown person or persons smashed the glass of the front door, gained entry to the building on July 23, and took an unknown amount of cash from the register.

Police have not made any arrests in connection with the crime.

Burglary reported on July 20 occurring at River Road. Report of house being entered while resident was away. Residence was ransacked and stolen were wedding rings and a social security check. 

Criminal mischief occurring on July 23 at English Plaza Parking Lot. Victim reported that unknown person slashed the rear driver’s side tire on parked vehicle.

Robbery occurring on July 23 at Riverside Gardens. The victim reported that he was approached by an unknown black male subject who punched him about the face and demanded money which the victim turned over. 

Criminal mischief occurring at W. Front St. Marina between the dates of July 18 and July 23. Victim reported that an unknown person or persons boarded his boat and caused damage to the seats, cut wires, cut rope that secures boat to dock and the boat had a substantial amount of water inside. 

Theft reported on July 24 but occurring on July 19 at Riverview Medical Center. Victim reported that she stored her purse on a shelf while working and upon retrieving it discovered cash to be missing. 

Theft occurring on July 24 at Riverside Gardens. Victim reported that an unknown black male asked to see his gold chain and bracelet. The victim handed items over to the subject who then fled the area with the victim’s jewelry.

Theft occurring on July 25 at Herbert Street residence. Victim reported that unknown workers who were doing plumbing work in apartment had stolen cash from bedroom.

Criminal mischief occurring on July 26 on Chestnut Street. Victim reported that an unknown person or persons damaged the hood of parked vehicle by making two dents in it. 

ARRESTS

Quencie Frazier, 53, of Red Bank, was arrested on July 27 in the area of Rector Place on a simple assault charge by Ptl. Jhonatan Quispe.

John Poulson, 27, of Lincroft, was arrested on July 25 in the area of English Plaza on a charge of possession of marijuana less than 50 grams by Lt. Joshua Berbrick.

Dena Renna, 37, of Long Branch, was arrested on July 25 in the area of N. Bridge Avenue on a charge of disorderly conduct, by Ptl. Dawn Shields.

Joseph Gutridge, 51, of Red Bank, was arrested on July 23 in the area of E. Sunset Avenue on a charge of simple assault by Ptl. Jame DePonte.

Alfredo Flores-Oliveras, 25, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on July 23 in the area of S. Pearl Street for on charges of simple assault and COC by Ptl. Paul Perez.

Noa Espinolda-Rico, 27, of Red Bank, was arrested on July 22 in the area of S. Pearl Street on a charge of simple assault by Ptl. Paul Perez.

Jason Haines, 29, of Jersey City, was arrested on July 22 in the area of W. Front Street on a charge of disorderly conduct by Ptl. George Travostino.

Rosemary Pereira-Castro, 41, of Toms River, was arrested on July 20 in the area of Monmouth and Maple Avenue on a charge of simple assault by Ptl. Nicholas Maletto.
