Starting a Busy Weekend with Great Weather, Jazz and Ghosts
It's what's going on in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area Friday and into the weekend.

It's Friday. We'll try this one more time for good measure: It's summertime and the weather is … pretty fabulous, again.
Same as yesterday. For yet another day, the weather troll, yeah, the National Weather Service, has reported that it will be sunny with high temperatures hitting about 77 degrees.
The tide table for Sea Bright will give you a guide you very well may just need from sunrise to sunset to sunrise again tomorrow … Do I hear a Fiddler on the Roof song coming on? Nah.
Here's the table:
2013-08-16 6:08 AM EDT Sunrise
2013-08-16 11:09 AM EDT 0.32 feet Low Tide
2013-08-16 5:25 PM EDT 3.73 feet High Tide
2013-08-16 7:51 PM EDT Sunset
2013-08-17 12:06 AM EDT 0.20 feet Low Tide
2013-08-17 5:58 AM EDT 3.11 feet High Tide
2013-08-17 6:08 AM EDT Sunrise
Events …
Well, it's Friday, so there's lots to do over the weekend, as usual.
But, for starters, there's West Side Jazz Nights in the pocket park on Shrewsbury Avenue. I may have to stop in on that one. It starts at 7 p.m.
The Ghost Tours start up again tonight at dark, or 8:30 at Dublin House on Monmouth Street.
Then, well, on Sunday, there's the Food and Wine Walk.
Oh, and don't forget the Farmers Market in the Galleria parking lot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Let us know if we forgot anything.
Stay tuned for more news. And, I'll see you around the towns.
