Woman Hit By Car Crossing Road In Red Bank: Police
The 56-year-old woman was crossing Dr. James Parker Blvd. when the collision occurred, Red Bank Police Chief Michael Frazee said.
RED BANK, NJ — A Neptune woman was hit by a car Thursday afternoon while she was crossing Dr. James Parker Blvd., Red Bank Police Chief Michael Frazee said.
At 12:07 p.m. on Thursday, Red Bank Police responded to the intersection of West Bergen Place and Dr. James Parker Blvd. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.
The victim, a 56-year-old woman from Neptune, was crossing Dr. James Parker Blvd. when Frazee said she was struck by a car turning left off South Bridge Avenue onto Dr. James Parker Blvd. and traveling westbound.

After sustaining a head injury, Frazee said the victim was brought to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment.
The driver involved in the incident, a 60-year-old woman from Long Branch, was brought to Monmouth Medical Center with a complaint of pain in her neck and right shoulder, Frazee said.

The incident is currently under investigation by Ptl. Piero Vescio of the Traffic Safety Unit.
