15 Sets Of Twins Graduated From Ridgewood High School Last Week. Here They Are
Ridgewood High School's 2024 graduating class had 15 sets of twins, higher than the national average.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Members of the Ridgewood High School class of 2024, which graduated last Wednesday, often found themselves seeing double. That's because among the 419 members of the graduating class, there were 15 sets of twins.
Approximately 31.1 of every 1,000 births in the U.S. are twins, according to Forbes, or around 3 out every 100 births. But there is a twins community in Bergen County. There's even a "Twins' Mothers Club of Bergen County" on Facebook.
In the RHS class of '24, the number was closer to 7 percent, more than double the national rate.
