8th Grade CCD Class at OLMC Raises Big Money for Charity

Eight-graders in Liz Lavin's CCD class at raised a total of $1,004 to two charities with its 5th annual bake sale this past weekend.

Lucky Laces, a non-profit tasked to raise awareness and support to those suffering from spinal cord injuries, as well as Tuesday's Children, a non-profit chartered to serve those impacted by 9/11 and terrorism worldwide, are the recipients of the proceeds. A deserving family of four from Hackensack will also receive Christmas gifts and a dinner courtesy of the bake sale.
