ARTBeat Will Showcase Budding Ridgewood Musicians

The annual Ridgewood event gives local performers a place where they can showcase their talents.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — If any of the performers at the annual Ridgewood ARTBeat make it big, they'll have a group of their peers to thank.

Some of the best budding musicians in Ridgewood will take to the Kasschau Memorial Bandshell on Veterans Field June 11 and showcase their talents. The event is student-run.

"Whether they be involved in music through Ridgewood High School or have their own band, we want to provide them with a chance to showcase their talents and passion to the community at large," said Mary Grygier, a junior at Ridgewood High School and a member of the school's ARTBeat Committee.
