B&B Theatre With 'Largest ScreenX In World' To Open In Bergen County

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A movie theater will soon open at the American Dream retail/entertainment complex featuring ScreenX — a multi-projection cinema that projects onto the walls as well as the screen, for an immersive experience.

In fact, the Screen X at American Dream will be "the largest Screen X in the world," a spokesperson said.

It will have an 80-foot-wide center screen and side walls measuring 82 feet each, boasting 242 feet of ScreenX viewing range.

The new B&B Theatre will include eight screens, multiple bowling lanes, a full redemption arcade, a restaurant, and a full-service bar.

"The facility will offer unparalleled presentation courtesy of the latest in laser projection, wall-to-wall curved screens, and heated, leather, electric recliners in every auditorium," said a release.

ScreenX, developed by CJ 4DPLEX, is the world's first multi-projection cinema that seamlessly extends the screens onto the surrounding walls.

"This revolutionary approach offers viewers a captivating 270-degree panoramic viewing adventure," says a release. "ScreenX immerses audiences in an unparalleled visual environment, reimagining the way movies are experienced."

An exact opening date has not been released.

American Dream is the 3 million square foot entertainment/retail complex off of Route 3 in East Rutherford.
