Back to School: Ridgewood 2022-23 School Calendar

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Back-to-school planning has begun in Ridgewood for the 2022-23 school year, and an essential component to that is school calendars to help parents get their children ready for the first day in Ridgewood Public Schools.

Schools open to students on Sept. 6, and to staff on Sept. 1 and 2.

Some dates are subject to change as a result of snow closings or other circumstances.

School may be closed on May 24, 25 or 26 based upon the number of emergency days used. If more than four days are used, Spring Break may be subject to cancellation.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First Day: Sept. 6

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24, 25

Winter Break: Dec. 26-30

Spring Break: April 3-7

Last Day: June 22
