On Wednesday evening June 15th, basketball legend and New Jersey native Rick Barry will be making a rare East Coast appearance, signing autographs for fans and collectors at New Jersey’s newest sports card and memorabilia store, Bergen County Sports Cards in Bergenfield.

Barry’s appearance coincides perfectly with this year’s NBA Finals. Barry led Golden State to the 1975 NBA Championship, and now his Warriors, led by future Hall of Famer Steph Curry, will be entrenched in battle in against the Boston Celtics. Barry, a native of Elizabeth, NJ, will be appearing the night after the planned Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Recently named to the vaunted “Top 75 NBA Players of All Time” list, Barry appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated four times throughout his career, and all five of his sons have played at the NBA level or in European Leagues.
