Bookends Live with Regis and Mary Higgins Clark on Tuesday

Local author Mary Higgins Clark and Regis Philbin will be at the celeb stomping grounds of Bookends

New Jersey's fame magnet will play host to two of the biggest stars in the lit world and the television realm on Tuesday.

Author Mary Higgins Clark, who spent a significant portion of her life in Ridgewood and now lives in Upper Saddle River, along with daytime TV deity Regis Philbin will be on-hand promoting their new books.

New York Times best-seller Higgins-Clark will arrive at 4 p.m. to sign copies of her new book, The Magical Christmas Horse. She'll be there with illustrator Wendell Minor.

Then, at 7 p.m., Regis (without Kelly) will sign copies of his new book, How I Got This Way.
