Carlo's Bake Shop Announces Grand Opening Date

'Cake boss' Buddy Valastro will finally be bringing the cakes and cameras to Ridgewood. The Hoboken-based television star will be opening his second Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 12 Wilsey Square.

Valastro announced this past fall that he had big plans to open his second bakery to serve customers tired of two-hour lines. 

"We expect to do very well in Ridgewood," Valastro previously told Patch. "We have some really cool offerings at this new location, like a custom cake bar and a party room for kids to have birthday parties. We're excited about the opportunities."

Oh, and the cameras are expected to roll on Feb. 9.
