Chamber Appoints New Officers

Tom Hillmann takes over as president at annual dinner

The Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce held its annual Installation, Networking and Recognition Dinner at on Tuesday night with a changing of the guard. Tom Hillmann of was sworn in as the new president, with departing president Scott Lief quoting baseball manager Branch Rickey in saying it's better to depart a year too soon than a year too late.

"It's been a great year," Lief said, adding that membership "is really at a high."

Mayor Killion, on hand to swear in the members, was later joined by council members Bernadette Walsh and Paul Aronsohn.
