Contractor Started Fire At Vacant Glen Rock House: Police
The Fire Department notified C and E Construction that opening burning on construction sites in borough is prohibited.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Borough police and firefighters were sent to a Sterling Place house about heavy smoke coming from the property Saturday at about 3 p.m., police said.
The source of the fire was "unlawful outside burning" at a vacant house. The Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire, police said.
The Fire Department notified the contractor, C and E Construction in Mawhah of the ban against open burning on construction sites.
