Emerging: Big Wilson River Needs Your Vote
Band vying for title in magazine's 'best emerging band of 2011' list
The guys and gal of Big Wilson River need your help – the hard-edged alt-folk band was added to the list of candidates vying for the title of Best Emergeing Artist of 2011 in NY/NJ by The Deli Magazine NYC.
As of Thursday night, BWR is polling at 4 percent with 183 votes, trailing only the bands Lucius, Futurist and Brothers.
The Bergen band recently took The Deli's title as best new alt-folk band in the area, so they've got some positive momentum going.

Should Big Wilson win the vote, they'll receive some good exposure, said drummer Alex Drivanos.
In addition to some "musical trinkets," a magazine cover and full-feature write-up is in order for the band. They can rock out with some free studio time to record another album, too. Not a bad deal.
