Hermitage Lecture Series Presents a Talk on The Hoppers of Ho-Ho-Kus

Maria (Ree) Pratt Hopper, a certified genealogist and retired teacher with more than twenty-five years of genealogical research experience, will discuss the children and grandchildren of John (Jan) Hopper and Rachel Terhune who were living in Ho-Ho-Kus (then called Hoppertown) at the time of the Revolutionary War.

Ms. Hopper is the historian for the Borough of Montvale and a past president of the Genealogical Society of Bergen County. She compiled the Hopper Family Genealogy: Descendants of Andries Willemszen Hoppe(n) of New Amsterdam, 1651-1658 – The First Six Generations. To reserve your place at this lecture call 201-445-8311.
