Science Panel Presentation at Education Center

The Education Center will host a panel presentation on science. Four notable guest lecturers will pontificate on what students should learn by the conclusion of high school, how schools can promote interest in science, and what skills students will need to know in 20 years. The presentation will go from 7:30-9:00 p.m and is held on the 3rd floor.

Lecturers include:

• Wojtek Auerbach is the Director of Embryonic Stem Cell Technologies at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He holds an M.Sc. in Genetics from Warsaw University and a Ph.D. in Genetics from Polish Academy of Science.
• Anne Deatly is Principal Research Scientist in Vaccines Research and Development at Pfizer. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and is a former Assistant Professor at Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan.
• Leonard Feiner is a Retinal Surgeon and Director of Clinical Trials at Associated Retinal Consultants, LLC. He holds an M.D. and a Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania.
• Ash Stuart is Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Ramapo College. He holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Columbia University.
