Fast Food Ordinance Served to Council

Existing ordinance regulations disallow the sale of food with paper cups and plates, plastic cups and utensils, which has left businesses like yogurt shops on the outside looking in. Many say the village already has many businesses with fast food components as it is.

The new ordinance, Brancheau said, will remove any distinctions between 'fast food' and 'slow food' while also prohibiting drive-thru windows.
An ordinance introduction will be placed on the next council session with a public hearing to follow.
