FLOOD PHOTOS: The Tides of March
With six inches of rainfall on top of the melting snow, the village was soaked from the Heights to the high school neighborhood.
Fields were ravaged, waters rose and raged, basements flooded, emergency services hustled to tend to flooded basements.
When it was all said and done, Senator Menendez stopped by the village to hear what the Red Cross was doing, the new turf fields became turfed lakes–closed to the public–and firefighters responded to 55 flood-related calls, most outside the usual spots by the brook.
