Friday: Boys Soccer Keeps Rolling As Football Flounders
Maroon football team loses 12-7 in come-from-behind loss to Clifton on Thursday night, fall to 1-3

1) While the varsity football team has floundered with three consecutive defeats–losing to Clifton 12-7 Thursday–the boys varsity soccer team just keeps humming along. With a 2-1 thrilling victory over Old Tappan on Wednesday, the team is now 6-1-1 and the toast of RHS sports (which have also had very good seasons in track and field, as well as gymnastics thus far).
2) If you're in the market for jewelry, stop by Joallier this weekend for some serious deals. Buy one item and the second is half off this weekend.
3) A yard sale containing everything from household items to furniture, books, TVs, bikes, gliders and more will be out from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 319 Fairmount Avenue.

4) Get your animals ready – tomorrow is the blessing of the animals at Christ Church beginning at 11 a.m.
5) Mark your calendars because in a week today, you'll be treated to the oldest premier band in the U.S. Army, the West Point Band. The band will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m., on October 14 at the West Side Presbyterian Church.
