Friday: Dancing in the Park and at Village Hall

Much going on Friday

1) The weather is going to be a little bit cooler on Friday, though it might be wetter too. There will be a chance of showers with thunderstorms possible after 2:00 p.m. with a high near 85. The chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

2) Friday will be a night of dances. There will be a dance for teens put up by The Junior Guild at 7:30 p.m. at Van Neste Square Park. There will also be a free mixer for 5th graders at the Annie Zusy Youth Center in Village Hall. G.W. students should be there from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and B.F. students will stay up a bit later, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

3) Enjoy bluegrass? Enjoy hanging out with your family? Well, even if you don't say yes to the last one, show up to the library at 7:00 p.m. and The show is free but there's a suggested $3 donation.

4) Rear-yard collection will be on the West Side with recycling and paper collection in Area 3 and yard waste pickup in Area C.

5) The Ridgewood YMCA will be having its which means well, you get a night out too. That's a good deal, no? Anyway, the YMCA will watch the kids and entertain them with nifty activities. So if you and yours haven't had a nice date night out and can spare $10 to have the Y check after your kids aged 4-10, consider it.
