Friday: Garage Sale at Woman's Club

1) The Junior Woman's Club in partnership with the senior ladies, (with some good food to accompany the items) at the club house on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be jewelry, furniture, books and other items for sale. The proceeds raised will help improve the facilities at the iconic West Ridgewood Avenue building.

2) Like the seventh-graders below them, the eighth-graders will have their dance at the Anne Zusy Youth Center at 7:30 p.m. with a DJ, light refreshments and games.

3) Rearyard pickup will be on the east side of town on Friday with recycling collection for Area 8.

4) Somerville Children's Theater will unveil the at the elementary school at 7:30 p.m. The kid-friendly play written and directed by Somerville veteran Rosie McCooe will put a new spin on a classic tale–The Wizard of Oz and its side stories. Tickets are $10.

5) The boys varsity baseball team will play an away game at Wood Ridge HS at 4:15 p.m. The varsity softball team will play an away game at Fair Lawn HS at the same time.
