Friday: Government Meetings Now Broadcast on FiOS
Also, get ready for the Village Guide with a special coupon

1) If you didn't want to trudge over to Village Hall to watch council meetings, you could watch it at home if you had Cablevision's iO. But Verizon customers were in the dark. No longer; FiOS is now available. Village residents with Verizon can see council meetings on channel 34 and school board meetings on channel 33.
2) The Chamber of Commerce will be mailing out the Chamber Guide (also referred to as the "Village Guide") to all Ridgewood residents. The guide will also include a coupon for a free Rewards Card that can be used at any participating village business.
3) Today is the last day to take the district's annual parent survey; if there are any questions or concerns pose them at survey11@ridgewood.k12.nj.us.

4) If you noticed several police by the on Thursday night, there was no crime committed. A woman had been trying to get to Rutherford but ended up in Ridgewood and spoke little English. Police reportedly helped the woman find her way to where she needed to be.
5) Harold P. Cook III, an attorney and municipal judge in the area, is in hot water after the state Supreme Court Advisory Committee charged him with misconduct charges on Thursday, according to a report on Northjersey.com. Cook represented neighbors opposed to the at 975 East Ridgewood Avenue, which was voted down by the planning board.
