Gas Line Struck at Group Home Construction Site
Low pressure line struck but no evacuations, according to fire department
The contractor working constructing the group home on S. Broad St. struck a gas line Monday afternoon.
According to Ridgewood Fire Department Cpt. Chris Duflocq, the contractor struck a low pressure line. There were no injuries and evacuations were not needed, he said.
Public Service was on scene and will cap off the line, Duflocq added.
