Glen Rock Crash Killed 83-Year-Old Woman, Police Seek Tips
Local and county authorities are seeking information from the public regarding a fatal hit-and-run crash in Glen Rock Monday morning.
GLEN ROCK, NJ - Local and county authorities are seeking information from the public regarding a fatal hit-and-run crash in Glen Rock Monday morning.
The pedestrian, who was later identified as 83-year-old Hawthorne resident Angela Sanzari, was hit and killed in the crash that occurred at about 6:40 a.m., Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a statement.
The crash occurred near Lincoln Avenue between Dixie Avenue and Parker Avenue, the prosecutor's office said.

Upon officers’ arrival, Sanzari was lying in the roadway with fatal injuries, and the vehicle that struck the pedestrian had left the scene, Musella said.
“As a result of the investigation and the collection of evidence recovered at the
scene, it is believed that the victim was struck by a dark-colored, older-model Honda CRV,
which was traveling northbound on Lincoln Avenue,” Musella said.

The vehicle may have signs of moderate front-end damage, including a possibly damaged or missing front headlight and a missing windshield wiper, Musella added.
