Glen Rock High School Named Among Nation's Best: U.S. News

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Glen Rock is home to one of the best high schools in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report. The publication ranked it at No. 40 among schools in New Jersey, No. 107 among schools in the New York Metro area, and No. 919 in the nation.

According to the publication, Glen Rock High School has a total enrollment of 751 students and 73 full time teachers. Its graduation rate is 98 percent, well above the state median.

“The Best High Schools rankings provide the most comprehensive, data-based information on nearly every public high school in the country,” Anita Narayan, managing editor of Education at U.S. News, said in a news release. “Families can use this information to see how their local schools compare on graduation rates and state assessments, as well as academic performance by students who are traditionally underserved — those who are black, Hispanic or from low-income households.”
