Glen Rock Sets Up Bicycle Skills Clinic
Youth are invited to learn safety techniques and skills at the fun event on Saturday, April 21 at the Boro Hall Train Station.

Borough kids are invited to learn how to take cleaner turns and practice solid traffic safety skills at a free clinic Saturday, April 21 at the Boro Hall Train Station.
League Cycling instructor Jen Laurita will be training kids from ages 8 through 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the east parking lot of the train station.
The event, co-sponsored by newly-opened , aims to further children's knowledge of traffic safety, provide a place to practice bike skills, as well as promote problem solving challenges through fun, hands-on activities. There will be an opportunity to make posters and helmet sticker designs as well.

Though the event is free, registration in advance is required. Registration can be done by registering with the borough (contact grec@glenrocknj.net) or at Carrera Cycles, which will provide helmet fitting and basic maintenance.
Organizers urge that those registering provide the name and age and number of participating children, parents’ name, phone number and email address. Participants should bring a functioning bicycle and properly-fitting helmet.
