RIDGEWOOD, NJ — If you only want to be with Darius Rucker, the lead singer for "Hootie and the Blowfish," beware: A charity running race may back up traffic on Memorial Day, said Bookends Bookstore in a message.

Among other events in the area, the charity running race in Ridgewood kicks off at 8 a.m. on Memorial Day.

Darius Rucker will appear at Bookends, a local bookstore, to sign his memoir. However, the appearance is sold out.
