Holiday Deals, Attractions, 'Life-Changing' Prizes Come To American Dream In Bergen County

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The American Dream Mall and its attractions are hosting "25 days of giving," with prizes, events, Santa visits, discounts, special attractions, and more for the holidays.

Among the attractions will be a magical "Holiday Dreamland" featuring Santa Claus.

The individual attractions are hosting holiday events, from "Nick the Halls" to "Shrek the Halls."

25 Days of Giving

Anyone who shops at American Dream this holiday season can enter for a chance to win what the mall described as "life-changing" prizes.

"Simply click on the QR code throughout American Dream to enter to win. Each week, three finalists will be picked to return to American Dream on Dec. 20 for a second spin and a chance to win a grand prize. In addition, on select days throughout the season, guests will have the opportunity to Spin to Win for instant prizes, including shopping sprees, TVs, jewelry, gift cards and more," said a release.

The prizes will be offered from now through Dec. 20.

Santa’s Debut at 'Holiday Dreamland'

Santa Claus is coming to town and will kick off the holiday season with a festive “Santa Spectacular” that includes a holiday performance followed by a celebratory parade led by St. Nick to his new home at Holiday Dreamland. Guests can then grab a photo with Santa and enjoy some holiday treats.

Join the kickoff on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at Dream Stage (Court A, Level 1). Check here to confirm the time.

Also, Santa Paws Pet nights will take place on Sundays from 4-7 p.m. These events run through Dec. 24. As always, double check before heading over. Holiday Dreamland is located at Court C, Level 1.

Breakfast and Brunch with Santa At Mall Restaurants

The mall will also host Santa breakfasts and brunches some days.

"Bring the whole family for a heartwarming experience filled with delicious treats, festive activities, and, of course, meet Santa Claus himself. Don't miss this opportunity to create unforgettable memories and fill your holiday season with joy," said the mall spokesperson.

Reserve your tickets to eat at either Carpaccio (breakfast) or Jarana (brunch).

Chanukah At American Dream

To celebrate Chanukah, American Dream will host a nightly lighting of American Dream’s 30’ x 30’ menorah, designed by New Jersey native and famed interior designer Jonathan Adler.

This will run from the first evening of Chanukah, Dec. 7, through Dec. 15 at Court A.

Nick The Halls

Get in the holiday spirit with Nick the Halls at Nickelodeon Universe! Create endless holiday memories for all with Santa SpongeBob greeting families and bringing holiday cheer. Be sure to stop by the Elf Workshop for holiday magic where elves can help you write a letter to Santa, decorate ornaments, and create festive crafts.

Shrek The Halls

Get on Santa Shrek’s nice list and come celebrate the holiday season at DreamWorks Water Park! Everyone’s favorite Ogre will be decked out in Santa gear, ready for a photo op with the entire family.

Geoffrey’s Express

Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy a train ride through American Dream on Geoffrey’s Express!

Public Ice Skating And Toy Drives At The Rink

The Rink will get into the holiday spirit with festive theme nights. American Dream invites guests to come skate on its NHL regulation sized ice rink on Dec. 8, 15, and 22.

Also, take a break from your holiday shopping and catch a charity hockey game at The Rink. No tickets necessary. Guests are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped gift. On Dec. 12 at 11 a.m., The Jersey City Fire Department will take on the Woodbridge Police Department in a game benefitting the Captain Mark V Lee Toy Drive. And on Dec. 16 at 10 a.m., the New Jersey State Police and Port Authority Police Department will take the ice to benefit Toys for Tots.

The Dream Stage

American Dream will welcome local bands, artists, and performers to take center stage all season, on select dates from Nov. 25 to Dec. 24. Location: Court A, Level 1

Holiday Greeters

Holiday greeters will spread cheer and treats throughout the center. These friendly elves will welcome you with smiles, guidance, and sweet treats this holiday season, on Fridays, Saturdays and peak shopping days

'Winter Wonderland'

American Dream says, "Immerse yourself in a winter wonderland with a wintry landscape where snowflakes fall and twirl around you. Embrace the joy of the season as you stroll through our snow-covered wonderland, a perfect setting for unforgettable moments and holiday bliss." This takes place all season on Court B, Level 1.

Gift Card Deal

Guests who purchase an American Dream gift card valued at $250 or more throughout the holiday season will receive a complimentary pass to Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park or DreamWorks Water Park.

What's New At American Dream

American Dream has opened over 30 new retailers since last holiday season, they said.

American Dream has over 200 stores and 30 eateries, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, IT’SUGAR, Toys"R"Us, Babies”R”Us. For dining: MrBeast Burger restaurant, Mozzarella Bar, Jarana, Carpaccio, Vanessa’s Dumplings.

American Dream is home to 17 attractions, including Nickelodeon Universe (largest indoor theme park in Western Hemisphere); DreamWorks Water Park (largest indoor water park in the Western Hemisphere) and Big SNOW Ski Hill (North America’s first and only indoor real-snow, year-round ski and snowboard park).

Flagship Retail: The Avenue features the only Saint Laurent, Hermès and Dolce & Gabanna in its trade area and the only Saks Fifth Avenue in New Jersey; Retail flagships, include: Aritzia, H&M, PRIMARK, Uniqlo, Sephora and Zara.
