Irish Dancers Look for Fundraising Help

30 girls from Ridgewood Irish Dance LLC performing marathon on Saturday to pay for tuition at prestigious camp

On March 17, 2012, 30 students from Ridgewood Irish Dance are conducting a dance marathon performing in various locations throughout New Jersey.

These dancers can be found at the in Ridgewood and The Shannon Rose in Ramsey at Noon, 3pm & 6pm; Wholefoods, Bergentown Center 11:00am and 1:30 pm; The Veterans Home in Paramus at 1:30 pm, Irish Eyes in Westwood at 3pm and 6pm and Fair Lawn Fire Co #4 at 8pm. On March 24th they can be found at the Hawthorne Public Library and March 28th at William Paterson College. 

Their goal is to raise funds to offset the costs for some students to attend Camp Rince Nua.  An Irish dance and culture sleep away camp to be held in the Berkshires this August.

Camp Rince Nua is attended by dancers and teachers from all over the world. They come together for a week to share their love of Irish Dance and culture. Camp Rince Nua provides the younger generation a wealth of knowledge to help carry on the tradition of the Irish heritage. Tuition for one week of Camp Rince Nua is $1050.00 per student.
