Jogger Struck by Car in Glen Rock Friday

A female jogger was struck by a car in Glen Rock Friday afternoon and suffered minor injuries, according to police.

Captain Jonathan Miller said the woman was crossing the street when she was hit by a vehicle just before 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of Prospect and Locust.

The investigation is still ongoing, Miller said, but there remains a possibility the driver will be charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk. He qualified the injuries as "very minor."
