Kleiman Appointed Acting OEM Director

Brad Mason, the former director, resigned earlier this month.

Ridgewood village officials moved quickly to fill the post of OEM director after in late May. And they didn't have to look far, opting to appoint deputy director Jeremy Kleiman as acting director, according to a release sent by village officials late Friday afternoon.

"Mr. Kleiman has served as Deputy OEM Coordinator since 2006 and comes highly recommended by the Village Council, Village Manager and the Emergency Services community," said Mayor Keith Killion, who made the appointment.

Ridgewood Police Sergeant Brian Pullman – also the head of EMS – will take over as Deputy Coordinator, Killion announced.
