Letter: Sen. Kevin J. O'Toole Re-elected as State Senator

This past Tuesday’s election I was honored and humbled to be re-elected as your State Senator for the 40^th District. I have had the pleasure of serving in the New Jersey Legislature for 16 years and representing the 40^th district for 10 years.

In the past two years, we have enacted historical pension and health benefits reforms, instituted a 2% property tax cap, and passed two budgets that have decreased spending, cut taxes. However, there is more work to do to restore our State to fiscal stability. Back here in the 40^th District we continue to work every day to find long-term solutions to flooding, education and tax reform, perhaps the biggest problems that affect our quality of life.
