Little Ferry Man Sexually Assaulted Child Over 2 Years: Prosecutors
A Little Ferry man was arrested Sunday for having sexually assaulted a child over two years, prosecutors said.

LITTLE FERRY, NJ — A 71-year-old Little Ferry man was arrested Sunday for sexually assaulting and endangering a child over two years, prosecutors said.
Imri Osmani, 71, was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office on Monday.
Prosecutors said that over the weekend, the Little Ferry Police Department contacted their Special Victims Unit regarding alleged sexual assaults of a juvenile that occurred in the past.

The investigation determined that Osmani sexually assaulted and endangered a child on more than one occasion between May 2018 and May 2020.
He was located Sunday in Newark with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, the Port Authority Police Department, and United States Customs and Border Protection agents, prosecutors said.

Osmani was taken to the Bergen County jail to await a detention hearing, prosecutors said.
