BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Bergen County man has been arrested after he met a minor on an app, lured the child into his car, and committed an "act of lewdness," prosecutors said.

Erick Nunez, 21, of Hackensack was charged on Feb. 15 with luring, lewdness, and endangering the welfare of a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutors said that the Lodi Police Department contacted them on that date to say that Nunez had contacted a child under 16 on the "Monkey" video chat platform, as well as via Instagram.
