Matthew McConaughey, Millie Bobby Brown, Other Celebs To Appear In Ridgewood Store

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Actor turned author Matthew McConaughey will visit a bookstore in Ridgewood this weekend to read his new children's book.

His first picture book is about the contradictions people face in life. Its promotional copy reads:

"Have you ever felt worried and excited at the same time?
"Have you ever had your feelings hurt but forgiven someone anyway?
"Have you ever thought there was more than one right answer to a question?
"That’s because contradictions are all around us. And they make us who we are."

The book is filled with the actor's "trademark humor and wisdom," according to the website.

McConaughey will appear at Bookends Bookstore at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, but as of now the appearance is sold out.

He will head to New York City the next day.

Several other celebrities will be promoting books in the store this month, including New York Giant Quarterback Phil Simms and actress Millie Bobby Brown.
