Monday: Children's Author in Town

1) The boys varsity teams will be taking on Don Bosco in baseball and tennis on Monday.

2) Remember, May is Walk to School month and bicycle safety month. Given another accident on Sunday, this one involving a bicycle, it seems a good idea to educate the ids on safety in both walking and riding around the village.

3) Author Patricia Polacco will be at GW at 7:30 p.m. This free event is only designed for parents, so leave the youngsters at home. Polacco is the author of numerous children's books and will be leading a discussion on heroes.

4) Rearyard pickup will be on the West Side on Monday with bottle collection in Area 5 and yard waste in Area A.

5) Basil & Thyme is holding a Ladies Night on Wednesday in the upcoming weeks. A BYOB restaurant, women will get a 10 percent discount on all menu items and there will be live piano music as well. Call (201) 670-9100 for more information.
