Traditions carry on in village

1) The begins at 8:30 a.m. with The Kessler Foundation Wheelchair 10K. Runners of all kinds will be hopping around the closed off streets until about noon. The event can be seen at Veterans Park behind Village Hall.

2) Commander Bob Paoli and the American Legion NJ Post 53 will be hosting the at Van Neste Square at 11 a.m. Speakers include two daughters of a Medal of Honor recipient, Councilwoman Bernadette Walsh, local high school students, and religious leaders. Once the ceremony finishes, head to Valleau Cemetery and lay flowers in memory of those who have fallen.

3) So here's the good news – you don't have to pay for parking today (federal holiday)! Here's the bad news – it's going to be really hard to find a parking spot with two big events on Monday.
