Monday: School Board Meets, Theater Show at B.F.
See a few things worth knowing on Monday.

1) The board of education will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. It looks like a light agenda, with a presentation on Super Science Saturday and a referendum update, among others. Nothing specifically states the still publicly-unknown cost of fields cleanup on the agenda, but it may be categorized under "referendum update" or "other business".
2) Another long-time teacher has announced their retirement according to the agenda of Monday's school board meeting. Hawes 1st grade teacher Jane Kalfus has announced her retirement after serving the Ridgewood Public Schools system for 32 years.
3) You can spot serious Broadway talent at B.F. at 7:30 p.m. for the Covenant House's "A Night of Future Broadway Stars." The show will bring high-octane show tunes from top high school theater stars along with some of the best on Broadway, including Sally Ann Tumas Skoric, Ciaran Sheehan, Rita Harvey, and Christy and Mark McVey. The evening will be hosted by lyricist and composer Neil Berg and proceeds will benefit Covenenant House New Jersey. Tickets are $20.

5) You may want to get your raincoats ready! There's a good chance it will rain on Monday. It'll be foggy early in the morning with a chance of thunderstorms and showers after 12 p.m. Otherwise, it could be cloudy with a high of 70. Precipitation chance is 40 percent. There could be thunderstorms later at night as well.
