Monday: School's Out . . . for Spring Recess

1) Village students will be enjoying the next few days off with Spring Recess.

2) Singer/songwriter Jay Mankita was scheduled to perform a family concert at the Anne Zusy Youth Center at Village Hall on Monday, along with a songwriting concert. The event has been canceled, according to the village website.

3) Head over to the Ridgewood Art Institute and see that will be up until May 6. The reception show was held on Sunday.

4) There will be rear yard pickup on the West Side with paper/carboard collection and commingled bottles and cans in Area 1. Recycling Area A will have yard waste pickup.

5) Oh what a day! Sure, there's a chance of rain but did you know it will be nearly 80 degrees on Monday? Seriously, we're not joking. Eighty!
