Driver Is Given Narcan, Gets DUI Charge When BMW Crashes Into Route 17 Exxon In Ridgewood
A driver was charged with DUI after crashing into a gas station on Route 17 Saturday morning, Ridgewood police said.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A man was charged with DUI on Saturday morning after his BMW slammed into an Exxon gas station on Route 17, the Ridgewood police said.
On Saturday morning, around 7:43 a.m., a black BMW crashed into the Exxon station at 490 Route 17, said Ridgewood Police Captain Glenn Ender.
Police administered Narcan to the driver twice, they confirmed.

Aaron Parker, 60, 0f Nanuet, N.Y., was arrested at the scene.
Parker was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, careless driving, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.

The crash was the second within 18 hours in Ridgewood in which the driver was charged with DUI. In a prior crash, a different driver hit a parked car and wound up on a resident's lawn on Friday just before 4 p.m.
