One Stop & Shop In Bergen County Already Replaced By Different Supermarket
Amid closures of Stop & Shop supermarkets in New Jersey, one in Bergen County was already replaced by another supermarket this month.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The Stop & Shop supermarket chain has said they would close 10 of their supermarkets statewide by Nov. 2, and one in Bergen County has already been replaced by a different market.
A company representative recently confirmed for Patch that four of the stores have already closed::
- 581 Stelton Rd., Piscataway
- 625 Paterson Ave., Carlstadt (Bergen County)
- 2275 West County Line Rd., Jackson
- 130 Skyline Dr., Ringwood
The Carlstadt Store has been replaced by a Food Bazaar Supermarket, according to a post on Facebook.

Food Bazaar posted on Oct. 4 that they were now open, and will be open from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.
The other six locations slated for closure statewide were going to close at 3 p.m. on Halloween, according to a company website and spokesperson. Read more here.

Stop & Shop will still have 47 stores remaining in New Jersey.
