Planning Board Scheduled to Hear Solar Panel Plans at Ridgewood Racquet Club
Solar panels have been all the rage lately.
Although the village has , businesses are making it known that they're very interested in giving their buildings a solar look.
The Ridgewood Board of Education is currently exploring putting panels on a number of its buildings and a business on Goffle Road in Ridgewood by the planning board to install a row of panels on the roof. In the case of the application before the school board, as well as the Goffle application, the property owner does not actually own the panels, but reduces the utility bill while selling excess power generated to the power grid.
Could the Ridgewood Racquet Club, on Ackerman Avenue, be the next village spot to go solar?
