The Goodbye Girl is a warm, light-hearted comedy based on Neil Simon's popular 1977 film about an unlikely romance between Paula, a bitter, single mother who has been jilted one too many times, and Elliot, the opinionated actor who shows up on her doorstep with a lease to sublet her apartment. Featuring the unique humor of Neil Simon, a score by Marvin Hamlisch (A Chorus Line) and lyrics by David Zippel (City of Angels), The Goodbye Girl stars Aimee Barnes, Michael Lee Jones, Rachel Williams, Tiffany Rudi, Whitney Stone and Leon Glover of NYC; Brad Baron of Glen Rock and youth actors Gabrielle Baldacchino, Ireland Horan and Carly Sokol of Ridgewood. Directed by Ryan Pifher (Ridgewood), music directed by Tristian Luysterburg (Clifton) and choreography by Gabrielle Salerno (Washington Twp).
