Real Estate Release New Single
"Easy" released on iTunes Tuesday, April 10 with b-side "Exactly Nothing".
Ridgewood rockers Real Estate have released a new single, though if you're familiar with the band it won't exactly be new.
Real Estate, now hailing from Brooklyn, put out a two-song combo on iTunes Tuesday, featuring "Easy" and b-side item "Exactly Nothing". The single follows up Real Estate's acclaimed 2011 album, Days.
As would be expected from the wizards of lo-fi, the dreamy songs burst with melody and subtle guitar clangs. [See the YouTube video above.]

The musical brokers Alex Bleeker, Martin Courtney and Matt Mondanile first played together in , forming a Weezer cover band among others. According to their biography on iTunes, after college, the trio reunited in 2008.
They've steadily gained more attention for their sweet, unassuming sound since releasing a self-titled full-length in 2009. The band is currently on tour with The Twerps on the West Coast and heading out to Europe this summer.

Real Estate is not the only musically-gifted locals to grab some notoriety – indie bands The Vivian Girls and hail from Ridgewood and Glen Rock, respectively.
