Ridgewood Choral To Present Spring Concert This Weekend
Celebrating its 96th season, Ridgewood Choral will present genres of music from Broadway to folk, followed by a reception.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Celebrating its 96th season, the Ridgewood Choral will present its Annual Spring Concert this Saturday, April 20. The group will perform "many flavors of choral music" followed by a reception with light refreshments.
Under the direction of Leslie E. Mac Pherson, the choral will present what they call "a potpourri of musical styles including Broadway, gospel, sacred, folk and lush arrangements of poetry."
Pianist Susan LaFever will accompany the choral.

Two local high school students who have won awards from the choral will be part of the performance.
Violinist Isabella Jung, a senior at Leonia High School, was the winner of the Florence Rienauer Award. Soprano Cecilia Soheily from North Haledon, a senior at Hawthorne Christian Academy, was the winner of the 2024 Marjorie Vandervoort Vocal Award. More information about them is here.

A reception with light refreshments will follow the performance.
The performance starts at 3 p.m.
Tickets are available for $25 from Choral members, from the Choral website, and at the door.
